Methods of Griha Pravesh

In new house we should enter in a auspicious day, with mangal kalash after sunrise we should enter the house. New home should adorn with flowers and Rangoli. Fill pure water in kalash and than put coconut between mango and ashoka’s eight leaves. On the instructions of pandits make a sign of swastika on kalash or coconut with Rowley or kumkum. While entering in a new home we should take five auspicious objects coconut, turmeric yellow, molasses, rice, milk.On the day of Griah Pravesh enter with Ganesh idol and it is also believed that male should first raise there right leg and female with left leg while entering in new home.

After entering the house with kalash and with Ganesh mantra establish him at northeast of home or in temple of house. Put some rice on kalash and then establish him.

Places near the kitchen stove, water storage place and storage area worship with Incense, lamps with saffron, turmeric, rice etc. And mark the sign of swastika symbol. Put green vegetables and molasses in the first day of kitchen. Boil the milk on stove. If possible make sweet, flummery, dessert on the first day. Food made in home first enjoyment to God. Try to keep food out daily for Bossy mother, crow, dog, ant, etc. On the first day feed to your family, friend, Brahmin.
